Ive had my hptuners for years and over hte last couple it has had real bad usb connection. I took it upon myself to install a new usb connector. This seemed to improve my connection but wasnt my problem it turns out. The problem was the cicuit board wouldnt fit right in the plastic box for some reason. Now the editor has no problem connection and writing/reading. But the scanner has a hard time saying connected and connecting. Can anyone give me some advice to improve my situation? I was not sure about warranty etc. probably just voided it anyway. i am very electronic capable so please any advice is fine. Thank you.
