    windows 7

anyone ese playing with windows 7 ? the tuners program works fine. but this web site doesn't. the threads blank out after a few seconds even with protected mode turned off. no other site that i visit does this.i guess it's more than likely, the ie8 beta that comes with windows 7,because firefox doesn't do it. and no other version of ie is compatible with windows 7.

its just vista with a few new things and a little refining...I run it in a VM Ware Virtual Machine...(along with win xp and Mac OSX-shhhhhh)

if you are getting that then you have some issue with your IE8 or with your pc...
try using google Chrome or Fire fox...see if it fixes your problems..if it does its just your IE8 that comes with your version of W7

Cool. So HP Tuners has no functionality problems in Windows 7? I just bought the tuning Suite today and just wanted to make 100% sure.

The problem I ran into was "this drive is not digitally signed". I tried for hours on getting around it, but it kept telling me "this OS only uses digitally signed drivers" or something to that extent.

sounds like something went screwy in your win7 install
I had that issue on vista once...I did a format and hit it again and all was fine....
all I can attribute it to was something not going quite right on vista...

Win 7 is the same Core as vista...so all vista drivers should work in Win 7
they did that to keep from having the same driver issues everybody had when vista first came out and everybody was switching from xp...

I'm just glad hey fixed the UAC in Win 7
vista's UAC is a pain in the ass compared to win 7

only reason I'm not running win7 as my main OS is because all the stuff out now is Beta Version that expires in August of 09 and then you have to get a new version if they are still beta testing or buy it...and I'm not buying it yet..
what am I saying...I'll probably never buy it..LOL I have other sources to get a legal copy from....

Hmmm. I downgraded to Vista and had the same problem (same error).

Oh well. Back on XP now.

If you're using the 64bit version of vista or win7 you need the signed drivers. Theres a way around it.

How does the MAC OS X work in VM ?

What version of ESX server are you running?

Can you manage it form the vm client tools?

    IE does the console work.
