Chris / Keith, do either of you know if the V6 PCM's have the ability to edit the open loop A/F like the V8's?
I am having some surging issues, mostly due to the A/F that is being commanded.
O2's go directly to 1.1v, and stay there if the car is not dead cold.
For example: The gf gets up to go to work, car has been sitting for 10 hours. Starts up just fine. She goes start the car for lunch, after sitting for only 4 hours, and it start surging, almost to the point of dying.
It did this before, and I was able to get the ATAP on it, and see that the A/F being commanded was very low, and the o2's were maxxed out.
Now, on a mildly modded car, it would seem that I would need less fuel than <10:1 would command.
Could I just reduce my Startup AFR Correction PN Initial vs ECT at the temps I am seeing problems?
It doesnt start surging right away, probably like 20-30 seconds into warmup, so perhaps shorting the Closed Loop enable time would help?
I have a stock code in the car right now with the exception of the maf table (for the 85mm maf we have) and the timing table for IAT controled timing.
Thanks in advance,
Jason
