04 and up F Series truck failure reading pcm

Every 04 and up F Series Truck I attempt to tune has a read failure at 49.8% of the read. Has anyone else experienced this or is there a fix?

    Thanks in advance.

Likely the pcm had been previously tuned or an inline module disrupting communications.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

pcm's were probably previously tuned then, possibly using a predator or other similar device.

i thought the same except 2 were completely stock and bought new by the customers. i tried a 3rd one here at the shop just for the hell of it and same thing. it goes to 49.8% read, stalls, and then retries several times and just quits.
