Magnus, this is the VIN for my car 3G1JF12D7SS these numbers and letters should be sufficient to identify the vehicle. The last 6 numbers I kept for safety reasons, sorry. If you do need the last 6 numbers ( only numbers left ), just e mail me or let me know on the pcm resource board. Thanks so much for doing this stuff for me. Thanks again.

Check the fash files page, I added the stock binary for the vin you supplied me. Use that to compare to the one you currently have.

WOW, that file that you posted is a whole lot different than what I was given. So what is the next step?? ;D

Your file is probably corrupt or a bad read.

Take my file, disassemble it, or start finding tables.

You need to find the checksum and know how to calculate it if you want to make any changes.

I was wondering if that .bin was still available, or if so where I could find it. I have been trying to work with the 1st bin He read, off and on, for a while now. And I just found this thread a day or 2 ago. I think I now know why I've had Zero luck to this point.

Also looking for the 95 bin file....... I am running a 95 computer with my W41 Turbo project, and would like to change a few things

I think I found most of the hardware/software I need, just havnt picked it all up yet.

I also have a 92/93 Achieva SCX W41 Eprom to read, and a '92 GTZ HO Eprom.......

Can you email the BIN file to me at [email protected]? The earlier link doesn't work. The things that are on my companies plate are burning Bilmar and Olds Performance chips in 05 and also writing our own custom code, but having a stock ECU isn't always to best peice of equipment to have especially for forced induction applications. We have yet to define the OBD-II for GM FWD as well. Cracking the box is one thing, but having the tables in the Prom defined properly, that is another thing completely. Of course, this is all still one large SECRET

I think he needs the vin to decode the bin file. You can get the vin off your car.
