    Disconnecting battery question

Stupid question. I bought a stand alone harness from Techrods.com for my LS1 Nova swap. There are only 3 connections I need to make to get the car to run, 2 are grounds and 1 wire goes to a switched 12v source. this source needs to be a constant 12v even during cranking. I understand this is all thats needed to get my car to start....but my concern is there is no constant 12v source now to my PCM. How does this affect the PCM and its tune? It would be like having a main disconnect switch on a race car and after every round, cutting the power to it. Any input? Thanks.

The tune is written in permanent memory until erased. Only thing it could change is the learned values.

Your LTFT's will be reset...no big deal. The car will relearn these values in a short while.
