i have gm credits can i tune a ford just by purchasing ford credits??

I have hptuners which i purchased to tune my trans am....my brother in law purchased an 08 mustang gt....will my version of hptuners tune his car simply by purchasing the ford credit??if im completly wrong,please explain what i will need to tune this vehicle...

You would just need to purchase credits for his ford, the newest beta(available through support at hptuners.com) also lowered the ford credit pricing to only 2 credits.

Can we scan Ford even if we are not tuning it? I have tried to scan my wifes 01 Mustang, but my scanner says it can not find the PCM. Do I need credits to scan it?

No credits are needed to use the scanner software on any vehicle. 01 Ford Mustangs are not currently supported. See supported vehicle list on hptuners.com

And I had to purchase 4 credits to tune my 06 Mustang. I think HPT should "credit" me with two credits.

Just contact support for the latest beta, anytime you have an issue with licensing contact support before licensing the file and we will get you squared away.
