Hi all I have a 1998 chevy 1500 with a 305 (building a 350 for it just using the 305 to learn all the tuning stuff on) that im almost done with my 4l80e swap. What I need is a 4l80 swap segment or whatever it is called. And also how do I do this? Thanks alot!

Send the two files(yours and the donating) to support. Both operating systems must match BTW to do a segment swap.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thanks for the help, what do you mean donating file? I don't have any kind of file for the 4l80e, what do I need? Where do I get one? Also how do I send it to support? I don't know the address for support. Thanks

To do a segment swap we need YOUR file along with the file you want the segment swapped in from(it must match YOUR files operating system just with a 4L80e transmission segment). Without the files its impossible for anyone to help you perform the segment swap.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Dunno, I can't tell if its even a 4L80e trans segment in that file and without your file its impossible to tell if the files are even compatible.

Emailed support, none of the files would work. What if I took say the 99 suburban file and completely wiped my computer and loaded the 99 suburban file that is for a 4l80e, then just changed all the engine paremiters and stuff to make it run my current engine? This would work right?
