    Reduced Engine Power

Hey guys I got back from the track with new tune and setup. I get reduce engine power when I am in the burn out box. If it doesn't do it in the burn out box then it does it right after launch. I have one code that comes up on the display it is a TCS C1278 . What do you guys think is the problem? Any help much appreciative. I have a C5 Z with a 403 Kenne Bell 2.8 with all the supporting stuff. Tune was done at LMR do you guys think it's tune related? Or is it something else?.

Yeup, as Catalope Kid said, post your tune. My guess is that the P1514/P0068 Error table and possibly the Maximum Delta Airflow - P0101 Error table (if still running MAF) needs adjusting. Until one learns how to adjust it properly, they can just max out the P1514/P0068 table for now, if you haven't already.

sorry guys I forgot to mention it's a 3 bar tune. The P1514/P0068 is set to 4.10 on all cells.

You need to post the tune!! I guess I'll have to do it for you.

I noticed the ETC scalar is .0355 when it should be .0192 for his 90mm throttle body. Any chance this could cause the problem? Typically when Corvettes go in to reduced power mode, the PCM will disable the EBCM, which will throw the C1278, but there will be the underlying cause code (i.e. 1514 or 1221) that will point to what caused the PCM to send the disable signal to the EBCM. I am being told that there are no other codes. Just the c1278.

    His tune is attached.

Changing the delta airflow didn't do anything. Any other ideas?

Load a config to log your dynamic cylinder air and get the car to act up. Let's look at the values in there. If you're exceeding the maximum amount, then you'll have to scale everything back in the IFR/VE.

    Try this histogram.

and read this while you're at it.

Also, try to log the pedal position and tps sensor. This problem may have something to do with that or the TAC module since you mentioned the 1516 code. Check all of the grounds with a meter to the PCM as well as absolute ground. Absolute ground is the chassis of the alternator.

I still don't understand why your ETC scalar value is .0355 for a 90mm throttle body when it should be .0192. It's not right and you might change that, but you'll have to re-tune everything around it to get the car to idle. Call Joe and see if there's any specific reason he did that.

anyone notice the iat reading -38*?

codes should be set to no mil, not mil on second.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

You will have to fudge the VE & IFR to get the g/cyl below 2.32.

After my log on Saturday I found the issue with the IAT. The sensor under the blower in the intake. I put a new sensor in it and it works now. One of my friends is a mechanic and he looked it over. He ended up finding the wiring for the TB had issues. He fixed it and now it works great. I appreciate all you guys help for trying. Thanks

My first question is why the wrong boost reading?

First pass was a good pass with no issues.
