shifting with TCC locked

can anyone chime in on shifting at WOT with TCC at full lock on a triple disc converter? I'm running a 550whp vette and want to lock up in third and hold lock through the 3/4 shift. I'd love to know if anyone has tried this. I'm aware it can be very tough on components but am curious to hear about actual real world testing.

I would not do it! Just saw a 600 HP blown Chevy street rod with a hammered input shaft and clutch baskets. TCC had a manual switch which the owner left ON.
