Drivers! Help Please!

Ok here is the deal I bought a new mini notebook (Acer) and it doesnt have a cd rom because of its size how can I install the drivers without the install cd?


My computer says no open com ports availible and it says that under device manager that the drivers for the mpvi are not installed??


I downloaded version 2.22 off of my usb flash drive but I am guessing that the drivers are not on there? I downloaded that version of 2.22 off hptuners on my page.

Help please, thanks. I dont remember having any of these problems getting it installed on my other laptop.

The thing is everything went so smoothly on my last computer that I didnt need to do really anything special but I did have the cd then too.

I am having the same issue, and i downloaded the drives. It still wont locate the file and I dont understand why?

Klug'SS...how do you like that notebook? I just bought a Dell Insperion Mini and so far I love it. The battery so far has lasted over 5 hours and still is only about half gone. The processor could be a little faster but for a dedicated tuning laptop, its great. VERY handy little computer IMO!

i had this problem and have the same notebook. first got to buy an exturnal disk drive. cost 100 dollars at best buy. second remove the driver for the scanner from your computer and load the driver all over again from sctratch. had to do mine twice before it took but now it works great.

I love it! It's just the little Acer Aspire series with a 9" screen and the battery life is sweet, just with the 6 cell battery that came with it lasts about 6 hours. It is perfect for tuning, nice and small, lightweight and for not having a ton of memory it is actually pretty fast. I am going to upgrade to the 9 cell battery which is supposed to be good for about 10 hours or so.

Excellent tuning computer! It sets perfectly right on the console where our cupholders are.
