Set max to 100 and min to 90

If you set the max pressure all to 100 and min to 90 under TCC duty cycle, will that cause the car to run slower in the quarter mile because the convertor will not flash as high?

I have also increased the 3rd gear pressures because I heard it is hard on that band, thoughts?

What about increasing the base shift pressures for the upshift changes? Could the increased pressure pull the motor down and cause the car to run slower in the 1/4?

Did you run slower in the quarter mile or something? I wouldn't think line pressure would slow you down at all.

TCC pulse width only controls how much pressure the TCC is locking up with, like ws6 said. Exactly like line pressure with gears.

I'm looking for reasons why my GTO is slower on average than everyone else's. Most GTO run 13.0-13.2 stock. I run with one that is a freak that sees 12.70's with just a tune, UDP, and exhaust. Mine did run 13.0 once, and only once at Capitol in MD.

No matter what AFR or timing (21-28*), my car does not respond, it runs 13.30-13.40. That's with exhaust, volant cai, Omega thermo, 160 thermo, pedders 1/2" taller springs, nitto 275's, and HPT. Perhaps mine is just down on compression? It doesn't burn any oil though.

What AFR and timing would typically be good to get off the line, say 1000 rpm to 4000 rpm?

That is very true from what I have seen! My truck has run almost .5 second slower from a 90+ degree humid day compared to a 50 degree day with nice dry air.

TCC duty only matters when TCC is engaged. At
    WOT, should not be.

Post your tune up here and a log of the run.

What mph are the supposedly comparable cars running? MPH in the 1/4 will let you know what kind of horsepower you are running compared to others.

The TCC does nothing for drag racing like the others have said.

What are your 60 ft times, 1/8 et and speed? A crappy 60 will put you way behind the others if they are better drivers or their car launches better.
