    New 2010 V6 Camaro Support?

Is it in the melding pot?
Perhaps some code ported over from the LNF platform to run boost?
    Me love boost long time.

I'm pretty sure they have an E77 pcm similar to the CTS V6's, likely won't be supported for a while. Not sure what they have in common if anything with the LNF.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

It's a DI motor. Im pretty sure we'll find the E69 pcm under the hood, Bill.
If that's a fact, it should make support's job much easier, no?
I ask because my mother in law wasted our Solstice GXP for me for father's day.
I may be looking at a camaro or something new to build Turbo kits off. But without HPT, there is little point.

Doesn't matter, if the bootloaders are different its like starting over from scratch and the main reason why we don't support the 08+ CTS.

BTW the 08 CTS's use two different pcm's, E69 & E77 depending on which version of the 3.6 you get so its really up in the air.

Unfortunately we don't support either pcm currently in those applications.

hmm that's a shame. THe V6 should sell in big numbers. Bigger than v8 numbers.
I figured for sure the op system would at least be similar. Goes to show how much I know about coding pcm's.

If you want to help out in the efforts send support a few clear pics of the pcm and its service numbers, it should also be marked with what pcm model it is ie E77 or E69 and if you can get a read out of it that would be great, if not a screenshot of the error you see when trying to read it along with a vcm suite infolog while connected to it. If you have access to a newer beta version of software you'll likely have better luck of getting some info from it.

Do you have an E77 you'd like to donate for a little testing at our Chicago office?

the E77 is already supported for some vehicles. I can tell you the problem lies 100% with reading the PCM and it is dependant on the OS ID. It is also the same issue with the other bosch ECM the E69. The problem is simple, the solution is very complex unfortunately (otherwise it would already be done)

if we get one V6 Camaro ECM and make it work, it is no guarantee that it will work for others of different OS.

Bottom line is we will take one if you send it

Ok... I'm not a tuner... just a guy with a new Camaro... I bought 2005 Mustang V6 when they first came out... I hit a LOT of the Mustang forums and when tuners finally came up with a tune for the V6 people really jumped on it!

I'm no marketing expert or a business man... but it sure seems to me that the way the Camaro is selling and GM is predicting 2/3 of them will be V6s... well, I hope someone can bring a tune for the Camaro V6 to market sooner than later!

I understand things are much more involved and complicated... But based on the way the S197 Mustang V6 crowd bought up tuners, i think the same thing could happen with the new Camaro...

ok... just wanted to voice my opinon...

    thanks!

Add another V6 Camaro owner looking for a tune. If I can help in some way please let me know. I know a lot of people on the Camaro5 site would be very interested in purchasing one.

If its E69 its in the same boat as the E69 in the 08+ CTS unfortunately as we haven't even written the bootloaders for it
