Corvette PCM 98 vs. PCM 99

    Hello,

    my 98 PCM is dead. I have from a wecked 1999 C5 a PCM.
The 99 PCM should be better for tuning with HP-tuners.
The swap is not easy and requires rewireing of the PCM connector.

Does anybody have experience with this swap.?
Does the swap make sense or is the afford to high.?
I found in the internet a lot of informations about
1998 and 1999 PMC pinouts for LS1 engines bau not yet
    for a 1998 and 1999 Corvette.
Does anybody have the pinouts of the connector available ?

    best regards

    Heinz

It makes total sense. The pcm is hellafaster, you can log more parameters at the same time, you have many more options when it comes to custom OS's, more MAF headroom, etc, etc, etc.

I have made a few posts concerning the swap, along with some links, here on HPT's forums.
