    can i use vista with this??

    i just bought an hp tuner and i was wondering if i could use a windows vista laptop to tune my 03 lb7 or if it will give me problems????

    Vista 32 should be fine, 64 is fine software wise however doesn't like to play nice with our drivers since they are unsigned...there are a few known work arounds for this that work for most everyone though.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    What are these work arounds Bill? I am buying a new laptop tommorrow with 64 and transfering all my Hp files to it.

    Do the f8 at startup and put it in Hibernate when ur done instead of shuttin it off it works well for me.

    I hit F8 on start up until itccomes to the black screen. Go down to disable driver signature requirement or something of that nature and select it. You will have to do this everytime you boot the computer but its easy and it works...Hope that helps...
