I can see it already. As soon as 2.24 is released... I give it less than a month before someone starts asking for Beta again (2.25)!! It's a never ending circle.

I give it 29 hours after 2.24 is released.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

10/6/2010 was the last secure beta release. Working out a few final release details but there should be a new beta compile done tomorrow with all the new adds, vin/os pairs, some major & minor bug fixes...looking good thus far.

I just grabbed the beta today. Will my link still work or do I need a new one. Your email said my link was good until Dec. something. Didn't know if it was the same link.

Not sure exactly how Keith is going to work the link, the link name will be changing though. I'm sure I'll know more in the next 24-48 hours.

Cool. This may have been asked already but are there any additional OSes coming? I know efilive has an OS that you can switch between 2 tunes with a toggle. Not sure what it's called.

We have no plans to add additional custom operating systems to LS1 platforms, you can tune dozens of tables in realtime with most 99-04 custom operating systems with our software, they can't do that without a $1000 3rd party pcm

    Bill,

Why isn't it possible to get RTT for the E38?

I'm sure its possible however the amount of R&D time required for such an OS mod outweighs its gain from our experience.

Setting up a 2 bar custom os for a single E38 operating system takes our HEAD engineer roughly 2 days, lets say it took another day(not including R&D) to code in the RTT stuff and lets say there is 50 E38 operating systems, thats about 150 days of only working on that out of 240 business days in a year.

Sorry but we can't afford to spend 60% of our next year focused on a pcm that is very VERY close to the end of its life cycle.
