Shift Points not shifting right on A6

I had my shift points perfect a while back... decided to lower the shift points around 200rpm, and now no matter what I command the gear it won't do as i say...

it used to be set at 6500rpm and shift firm and crisp at 6500rpm. I set it to 6300rpm, and at times it either revs all the way up to 6800rpm or hits a limiter at 6000rpm...

when shifting 1-2 i have to remove my foot of the gas for it to change....

    any ideas whats up??

i've set shift speed MPH and rev limiter across all tables to be the same..

Are you running a different size tire now by any chance?

Have you lowered the part throttle shift MPH and the WOT shift MPH as well? The ECM has to see both conditions (100% part throttle MPH, WOT MPH, and WOT RPM) meet in order for the shift to happen.

I am indeed.. I've changed the tire diameter ratio and still no effect?

The one thing I've noticed is that if you change the tire diameter it changes the D mode shift points (Normal) but not the S mode (Pattern B).

I'll bet that if you copy the Normal values over to the Pattern B table it'll shift fine.

I just realized something like that today.. i set my normal shift points in the 4-5 change to come in at 6000rpm, it did shift at the 5200 in the pattern B!

I'm gonna try that out tonight and see what happens...

    thanks

Unfortunately the WOT RPM doesn't affect the shift points at all.
