Need An LS1 Guru (02 sensor error codes)

    Hello ,

    Thanks for reading my posting.
My, 02 camaro Z28 is throwing 02 sensor codes indicating the right front sensor is bad. I replaced both sensors and the problem remains. The wierd thing is that the engine service light will continually flash at an idle; but goes off when I start to drive. I pull up to a red light it will flash again, I leave the light it goes off. I swapped the sensor with two other 02 sensors and they all do the same thing. I'm ruling out the sensor; but what else would do that??? This may mean nothing; but when I had the car Dyno Tuned the tuner mentioned somthing about low voltage to my throttle position sensor. Would that make my engine light flash constantly only at idle and throw 02 codes??? What can I do???

    I'm Lost!!!

sounds like a short...or possibly your alternator is going bad...
I know that when Alternator is going bad it tends to not provide enough juice at idle(which explains why your problemgoes away when you start driving)

My suggestion is to put a real volt meter on the car..and see what voltage you get at idle...and then just grab the TB and hold it at like 2500 rpm(or have a buddy push the pedal for you) and check the voltage....
you should not have more than a few tenths of a volt difference....
if you do..take it to an advance auto or an oriley's auto parts and have them test it for you(they can do it while its on the car)....

when your alternator goes completely bad you will be running on battery alone..and you will start to see christmas tree lights in the dash pretty quickly...
you'll lose a bunch of stuff all in a nice order...
    usually in teh order of:
    SES light will come on
you will lose overdrive in an A4
    you wil lose Traction control
    you will lose ABS
    you will lose Cruise Control
and finallly teh battery light will come on...
and teh car will feel like its starting to misfire...
and eventually will die from lack of voltage to greate spark...
