Will this make it into Ver 1.6 for the V6s?

i have parts of it in my version of 1.5 i just use the base retard vs. rpm & it works just fine for me.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

All that does is decrease the amount of KR you get. The car is still seeing the knock and will take out timing as well as push you down into the Low Octane Spark Table.

The V8 version has the ability to reduce the sensitivity of the sensor so false knock will not be recorded as knock.

I'm consistently getting 3-4* of KR between 3200 and 4000 or so, at around .56 and .62 airflow....is that what you're getting?

I've adjusted my timing and fuel at those areas multiple times, with no success.

Mine is in that same area. Have you put in a new cam? Stock I did not see KR except with bad gas. With the cam, it was all the time. Run some race fuel or octane boost in the car, if the problem goes away, it is real knock. If not, it is false. If after changing your spark and fuel it does not change, it is most likely false. Just wait for 1.6 and lets hope it has some controls for us.
