Trans Fast Adapt - Tech2 or HPT

Tried to follow the threads but could not reach a conclusion.

Is executing a Trans Fast Adapt required after a tune or not?

Is there any value in using HPT to execute Trans Fast Adapt or is a Tech2 required?

GM repeatedly says yes on this one.

But! the real question is does a regular calibration flash (as opposed to a full flash that GM normally does with a Tech II) clear the adaptive learn cells to zero. Have not got an answer on that from any quarter yet.

Fuel trims dont reset without a power off or full flash, so maybe the T43 is the same.
