    Tcc Pwm

I have read that it's good to disable the PWM if you have a aftermarket stall and to set the duty cycle max to 100 (max) and some say the min needs to be set to 90 while others say to set it to 99...would seem to me that setting the min to 90 would still let a little slip, is this for safety?

I have the same question, lol. I am running a Circle D triple disc in a 4l80e.

Why would you want an aftermarket converter to slip during lock-up?

I set max to 99 and min to 98 myself.

But you also need to be sure whether 99% of
not-enough (main line, 0% commanded at cruise)
is anything but not-enough (trick question). Of
course it will be better than 30% of not-enough,
or whatever "slip learning" silliness is there now,
but you may have more work to do than just the
    obvious.

I don't really know how the converter is designed to work and what is the best way to work.

Jimmy...What do you mean?, can you explain in plain English that a lay person can understand.
