    camaro 2010 not shifting at commanded RPM

    the car is commanded to shift WOT at 6300 rpm on every gear, it did great before the new converter ( i think a 2500 rpim one) now the car shifts at

    6800 1 to 2
    6500 2 to 3

    do you know what the problem is?

    thanks for your help and opinions

    Did you set your mph to match the rpm's?

    hahah I have the same auto in my G8 and getting the tranny to shift in the right spot was a complete bitch. You gotta lower your WOT mph shift point settings. BY A LOT. I needed mine to shift at 6700, and at that rpm the 1 to 2 shift was at about 45 mph, so I had to set the 1 to 2 shift point at 34 mph to get it to shift at 6700. Makes sense right? lol. You just gotta play with the mph settings until you get it in just the right spot, odds are you gotta set it LESS than the mph you actually want it to shift at.

    Judgeing by your log, your 1 to 2 shift happened at about 40, so try setting all the WOT mph shift points at 30 mph, FOR EVERYTHING UNDER 100 percent throttle

    This is what I had to set mine at to get it out of the limiter:

    if you want it to shift by RPM you have to lower the rpm upshift speeds to 0mph...then it will shift by rpm and you will get it to shift where you want it to
    just set all the 1->2 2->3 3->4 and 5th /6th upshifts to 0mph
