C6 A6 tuning no help at the track :(

After the tuning help I have had and little tweaks after many logs it looks as though the car didn't pick up any ET in the 1/4 mile

I got rid of the bog off the line, timing drop between shifts(TM), and it shifts fast and chrisp now, but no ET reduction. I don't know what to do

As you can see the timeslips before Vararam and transmission tuning are 12.3-12.4 with a corrected DA of 12.22 -12.14

These are the new slips after the Vararam and transmission tuning. 12.4's corrected to 12.21 -12.16.

Attached is the tune currently in the car and 2 logs down the 1/4. I picked up a little KR on the first run and had to bring the timing down a little. Most of the KR on the last run was due to spinning badly off the line and I also spun pretty bad on the 1-2 shift.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The weather and DA is written on the timeslips. The temps were close to the same, but the humitity was higher on the latest trip. That's why I corrected the times to sea level to see what the car would run under the exact DA.

If you are experiencing any tire spin your times will drop off even if your car is capable of a better et with a given tune. Got to eliminate spinning if you want to compare tunes.

To determine if you are making more or less power on 2 different track surfaces you need to look at the incrementals.
I cant read your time slips well enough to be exact.

    (1) 330-60 time = 3.423
    (2) 330-60 time = 3.454

    (3) 330-60 time = 3.377
    (4) 330-60 time = 3.39

Go all the way back and compare 1/4-1000, 660-330, 330-60. That will tell you if you are making more power or not and where it is making or losing it.

    (1) 330-60= 3.426
    1/8-330= 2.743
    1/4-1/8= 4.277

    (2) 330-60= 3.404
    1/8-330= 2.714
    1/4-1/8= 4.287

    Vararam & Trans tune

    (1) 330-60= 3.377 bog off line
    1/8-330= 2.768
    1/4-1/8= 4.349 slight spin on 1-2 shift

    (3) 330-60= 3.39 spin off line
    1/8-330= 2.758
1/4-1/8= 4.324 spin sideways on the 1-2 shift

Looking at the logs I may have found some of the problem.

Run 1 - I bogged off the line and spun on the 1-2 shift starting at 52mph and recovered back at 52mph .234 sec later.

Run 3 - I spun off the line and spun hard (kicked sideways) on the 1-2 shift starting at 53mph and recovering back at 56mph .672 sec later.

Can someone look at the logs and confirm this? Would this really mean that I lost that time/momentum?

Any loss of traction is going to cause a reduction in time. Not necessarily mph, but time.....yes. Time for burnouts and at least DR's.
