    TAPS Reset

Can you do a TAPS reset on a 98-02 W-Body's? I can't seem to do it on either of my Regal's (99 or 02) or a 99 PA.

    Thanks

Apparently not, i wasn't able to either on a 2000 grand prix, from what i've noticed with scan tools even is most dont have TAPS reset in there special functions menu, only the Tech 2 is all i have been able to reset these cars with. Just drive it till it adjusts on its own

Transmission Adaptive Pressure, pcm adjusts line pressures to try and make shift times as close to desired shift times as possible, very similar to fuel trims.

I've noticed that my 99 Regal seems to reset TAPS when I leave the battery disconnected for an extended period of time, and a friend of mine has also noticed the same with his 99 Regal as well.
