    won't accept file....

Tried loading an 07 ls7 e38 file into a 06 ls7 e38, no luck. Also seems to be a different OS# for those 2 ucu's. What can I do? If OS change, how do I go about it? BTW, I own both files/ecu license

If it works at all it'd require a write-entire. I'd wait to talk to support first to make sure that you don't brick a PCM.

I did a write entire, and lost syc w/ bcm and all. Took 40min for the re-learn procedure, got it to run again (it would not after write entire) and then noticed it looks like a diff o/s. I want to be able to swap tunes between these 2 cars, I own the license for both.

Your lucky you didn't brick your pcm, I would highly recommend not trying again.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
