    Free shipping on website

For the tax day we all love I have made the website saxonpc.com free shipping for all items. Although you guys really only want the stuff for cars.

If someone has a speedlight flash that will shoot a car photo for me, one of those slick engines I see posted that would be cool. If no one has a speedlight I will send some folks with a pimp looking engine one of the flash filters for a pop-up flash. If you'll share the pic on the customer website. It will accentuate parts under the hood like these pics of the MB, even though they are smaller scale it will do the same thing.

    With regular flash:

    With a flash filter:

The part is only like $3, but I will send the first 3 folks that post that have a sick engine compartment one of these pop-up flash filters free. And the one that can take the best pic with it will win let's say a $10 gift card to Auto Zone. (or eq. if you don't have one by you.) It will be like a contest.
Best if you have a 2.5 megapixel camera or better. There is more examples of the pics the little filters will take on the website link.
My Firebird engine is nothing to take a pic of but I will shoot one tomorrow so you have an example.

    Saxxon68,

Did you ever get the data I sent you? The plastic version is certainly the best of the bunch, BTW. I am still running it in my car, but it is the 1/2" (I think) version.

    1994 Grand Voyager Application

So I could not have you guys running these without giving it a go myself. My '98 firebird looks like it will be a few hours work to install, so I opened the hood of my 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager and got a pattern of the intake. It is only about 65mm. I used an Aluminum piece like many of you have purchased. Set right before the sensor. I was hoping to see an improvement in the MPG the computer keeps track of, but .5 MPG better if anything. But I notice a big improvement in the pickup across most RPM ranges. It is not a performance engine by any means. But it seems to be smoother across the RPM range so it is going to stay.

    Subscribing.

What's the final verdict on the best one, or is it more application specific?

I just bought a TSP 100mm MAF and I'm also wondering which combination of cell size & ratio worked best?

    MAF applications

Seems like it depends on the application. Most folks are happy with 5:1 ratio. We will have Aluminum 1/8" cells available in November. In ratios between 4:1 and 8:1. If u want to upgrade to the 1/8" cells and have ordered before use the coupon code "PREVIOUS" to get 25% off your order.

The 1/8 inch plastic cells worked by far the best.

    1/8" cells are in

    http://www.saxonpc.com/100mm-cells-for-100.html

1/8" aluminum cells are in and this material is Pimp . Ranging from 4:1 to 8:1 ratios. The material is quite a bit more expensvie than the 3/16 cells because there is more aluminum per inch, but the cut circles look awesome.
The coupon code 'previous' is active if your upgrading until Jan to save 25%
I will upgrade my 1994 Voyager mini van this week. I had that rig for 5 years and been on a few road trips. I don't notice any mileage improvements in town but that car has never peged 24MPG on the highway before that honeycomb was in there. 22.5 is about the best I would see. I figure the part paid off with one trip of 1600 miles. I will go from 5:1 ratio to 6:1. ohhh yea!

    Hello
I was doing a search, trying to find someone that sold MAF air straighteners and I ran across this forum. Unfortunately for me you guys are way above me. I only have a dynoed 350 rwhp 2000 camaro. My hat is off to you. What I'm trying to do is replace the missing air straightener from my MAF with something with more performance, so I was wondering what happened to Saxon68. His place of business is in my home town so I was thinking about stopping by to say hi and to see if he can help me out. I'd appreciate any thoughts.
    Thanx John
