    2800 Stall, 3rd gear rpm drop

    I have a 2800 stall converter and after i installed it and my new tranny that i rebuilt i'm having problems in third gear.

    after i take off, and it shifts from second to third it drops down to 3500 rpm and starts pulling in third then about two seconds later it drops down to 3000rpm then starts pulling again. it made the top end of the truck horrible but was great with original tc and tranny.

    any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like it's locking up...haven't looked at the file yet...I just did a TCI SS in my buddy's Camaro and it would lock in third....so I just disabled it to only lock in fourth gear....
