Hey guys i was thinking about running e85 during the summer months in the cobalt. Ive got an 07 SS/Sc, If my tune is set up for e85 and i get low on fuel, would it be terrible for me to throw a gal of 93 in until i get to an e85 station? The lack of e85 around chicago is the only thing stopping me from getting it.

It would Run 30% richer with normal gas tuned for e85. Dont convert to e85 unless you commit to it. I have to plan every trip out of town before hand just so I know where the stations are. Or you could keep hptuners and a laptop in the car at all times and swap tunes over but still your fuel trims wont like it. Just keep your tank constantly more than half full.

Ya im probably gonna have to keep the laptop in the car then.. I really want the benefits of e85 its just not that plentiful in chicago...
