you are going to need some safety equipment to run that thing at the track - well if you want to make a 2nd pass anyway

there are people here making similar numbers that could guess better than me but if you can hook it up it should be high 10's to low 11's is my guess

Low to mid 10's if you can hook, heck my weak engine ran 11.67 with my old cam. You should beat the crap out of that no problem. Under 11.5 you need a roll bar and that is good to 10.00 I believe.

oops, didn't see the convertible part. I will get one of those freebies in the spring and then I either stop or get a roll bar too. Drag racing is addicting, a roll bar may be in my future.

Man I have heard this thing over the phone, its disgusting, it practically sounds like a stock car, you can't hear a lope at all! The only way you can tell its eve built up at all is that it just sounds "tight" unlike the sloppy sound you get from a stocker! VERY Impressive build, I am not a tuner but I have built my share of very hi performance engines, everything from USAC to NASCAR to IRL, and this is an impressive build for sure, I got a few details on it and its a killer lil engine!

Nice numbers, did you put that together in excel? I have not seen a graph print out like that. What kind of dyno?

For a 366 CI motor, that is a ton of power through an auto. I have never seen one make within 100 HP of that even with a manual (while making peak numbers at the same RPM, or close to it).

Am I the only one not getting audio on those video clips?

Those seem like crankshaft numbers to me. If those are to the wheels, I would have to have more convincing proof.

What kind of dyno are we talking about here?

Wasn't challenging you, just stating that you are making some killer power.

What kind of dyno did you run on? I was asking if you took your dyno graph and redid it in excel (I do that sometimes to get rid of false torque peaks from a tach drop out) as I have not seen a dyno graph that looks like that (the format).

Those are not stock LQ4 pistons, they do not have the cross in the middle.

Sorry, I have a 2002 LQ4 and the are just a boring 6.7cc dish, no cross. I just had to change mine do to broken ring lands so I just looked at them a couple of weeks ago. Stock bottom, 68,000 miles.

I would either run your setup at the strip to verify the numbers against ET/MPG or try a different dyno. There are tons of 6.0L L92 combos out there and nobody gets within a 100 NA HP of your combo.

If your head mod made the difference with a small cam, you should start marketing the design immediately and make a ton of cash.

How did you measure the 2.6 sec 0-60 time?

Don't forget, your speedo is going give you tire spin readings, I also have a digital speedo.

Either a timer system or GPS would be the most accurate gauge of 0-60 times. At the dragstrip on DR's with a 1.7 60 ft I hit 60 in 1.5 sec because I was spinning and had to pedal out of it. That was the logged time with HP Tuners.

Yeah, I would love to see what it does at the track. That car should EASILY go mid 10's at 130+ MPH.

I feel your pain, here in lovely Michigan we have snow in the forecast this week. Time to bust the snowmobiles out, its fast too so I won't get too bored over the winter. 480lb sled, 150 horsepower, its all fun.

If you get lucky, on test and tunes they may be a little more lax. That's what I love about the small 1/8 mile tracks here. You can run 6's without a helmet and nobody looks twice lol
