I'm using Win 7 RTM x64 Enterprise - no encountered problems with 2.22. It was a pleasant surprise that HPT had signed 64-bit drivers out so soon.

Been running windows 7 RC for about 6 months now without issue
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

You gotta make sure you have Complete Admin rights to install the driver ! Took me a while as like Bill says " Win 7 is a different animal "

I don't have any issues with windows 7 64 bit running the correct drivers, and I never had any issues running windows vista 32 bit on the same machine, again, running the correct drivers. I ONLY have issues on another machine, that has windows XP...and the only issues, are that the tabs inside of VCM editor have all sorts of annoying scrolling issues to see anything...but it's ok, cause I really only use that computer to look at tune files when I'm at work on break and trying to help someone, I don't do any tuning with it.

Sounds like you didn't install the drivers properly.

I´m running 2.22 and Windows7 64, I can´t connect to the interface. I can´t see the interface but somehow the editor gets the serial number of the interface. I have no idea how to figure this out.

The editor gets the serial number from the application key

Your drivers aren't installed properly OliGeorgs

sometimes you have to remove the old nonworking wrong drivers first
it would be in control panel > device manager
