    Just Woundering

    So i just ordered the standard lastnight but im woundering just how much tuning i can do to my 03 lb7 duramax with this is it comprable to efi live or no cause i just want to be able to load and create some big tunes

    As long as your pcm isn't tunerlocked or loaded with a custom operating system of some sort you should be fine.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    I Have A Superchips On It So Its Locked Now But Should Be Able To Unlock By Removing The Chip Right

    Removing the superchip properly should unlock it. It will tune just as much as efilive, i have out pulled many trucks tuned with efilive

    thats what i want to here im a fan of both my buddy has efi live and his truck is half rediculous but i have some friends at a local performance shop that use hp tuners and everything that comes outta that shop is retarded fast (mostly gassers) but i look forward to tinkering with hp tuners and for the price its unbeatable i get mine on the 22nd so im eagerly awaiting

    03_dmax i may hit you up for some tunes as well if you dont mind hopefully ill be putting a performance innovations built tranny in soon but thats another $3300.00 dent in the wallet

    i have a question on getting a tune for a 04 Lb7 Stock with Striaght pipe stock exhaust and a Edge w/ attitude programmer.

    i want to build/or find a decent tune for added shift pressure,points, speeds, and so on. along with a slight power increase with fuel rate, etc.

    My question is how will doing this effect the use of the Edge programmer???

    (Kinda new to the diesel tuning have mainly been dealing with LSx's)

    I would ditch the edge the only reason I can see having it is for the egt gauge. And just tune with HP and never look back at that edge. And it is also stupid and pointless to stack a programmer with a custom tuned ecm because anything that edge can do you can do 100X fold with HP.

    2003- durmax dads truck.Yet to be tuned completely.

    You can build a tune that the economy is the same probably better and make more power than level 5 with out having to switch.

    really? well do you know of any good books or advice for Diesel Tuning with HPT??? Im pretty Green on Tuning diesels.
