the table that i had to edit to correct the "reduced engine power light" i was getting for the TPS check on electrionic TB cars is gone now too ???

While the guys at HP Tuners think about getting us the controls we need, I have another related question.

I set up a log file and logged all the Knock related PIDs. However, I can not make any sence out of what they mean.

I logged:

RPM
TP
MAP
MAF
Ignition Timing Advance
Knock Retard
Knock Sensor Voltage In Range - Front
Knock Sensor Voltage In Range - Rear
Knock Sensor Voltage Out of Range - Front
Knock Sensor Voltage Out of Range - Rear
Vehicle Speed

I got some knock retard and I got readings in the 4 sensor voltage cells but never anywhere near eachother. If I had KR, all those other cells were zero. When the Voltage cells had readings, no KR.

The In range readings were from 0-150 and the Out of range readings were from 0-10. THese readings were only in a small percentage af the cells and go up and then disapear over a period of about 3 seconds.

What does all this mean???

the P1514 was my mistake, sorry. It is back in now. Send me email with your cable ID and i'll put an update up for you.

Knock sensor calibration wasn't on the list for v6 engines this release.

Bill, when it comes to the HPT V6 calibrations, It's all Chris.. Chris is the V6 code guru.

Knock sensor cal is on the list now

The counters you are looking at are used in the decision to set P0325, P0327, P0332 in regards to the acceptable knock sensor circuit voltage ranges. If you aren't seeing the DTC then no probs. Looking at a few bins the threshold is set at 250.
