Just got MY VCM suite...Please help.

    Hello,
I got my VCM suite the other day for my 2000 GTP, is there a list that will show what the ideal settings should be for each parameter??

If this is posted somewhere can you please direct me there?? Thanks

Ironically I have an HP Tuners VCM Suite for my engine and I do not have an engine in my car - yet...LOL

    Blessings,

What about for generic parameters such as injector pulse rate, what your O2 voltages should be, what STFTB needs to be...ETC

Come on now - are you telling me that there are not generic parameters that we should watch to make sure they are at correct levels?? Please help!!

it all depends on your car, your area, the fuels you have, mods, etc. As for what you should watch in a GTP, KR.

The default table display covers most of the major parameters you should be watching.

This seems very helpful - I hope it is not a repost!! Sorry if it is!!

A couple questions I created for myself:

I read you need to start with a stock bin file, does my PCM have to have that already installed before I use this tuner?? If so then...
I have the Intense Standard PCM with adjustable timing - should I pull that out first, save it then replace it with a stock file then start tuning??

You can edit the bin file from INTENSE with no problems.
You can also check here to see what other people have done to their PCM tunes: http://www.horist.com/hptuner/

First thing you should do is read your PCM and save the bin file away somewhere, then start tweaking from there.
