gas mileage help and general look over please

I just purchased the HP Tuner suite. I have a 2001 Drive By Wire Chevy 5.3 engine mated to a Manual NV4500. I have no cats and removed all emissions. I have about 600 miles on the newly rebuilt engine. The troubles I have is that it is getting about 8 mpg. Any advice you may give would be great! Attached is about 15 minutes of my scan file.
    Thanks in advance.

Have you done the MAF or VE at all? Your trims are -10+ which means its very rich, hence your mileage problem. A log of you actually driving instead of idling for 80% of it would be more useful.

    Post your tune file

I will record me driving rather than sitting idle. I had the ECM programmed during my conversion. I just bought the HpTuner software and only have downloaded to it. Attached is my tune or what it is currentlly programmed at. Any suggestions, let me know. I am learning.

Who did the programming? What are the mods to the engine? The spark tables and airflow tables are all stock for a 5.3

you're showing a lot less timing than my 2000 5.3 had when stock.

I had it done by lt1swap.com. It runs great, just very rich. You can smell the gas when running.

    Other Mods.
Headers to a Y with a single magnaflow exhaust. It has a K&N intake. Otherwise it should be stock.

my file for the 2000 is for a cable drive throttle body with egr. but i would think the timing should not be that different.

I have been working my tune. It is a lot to absorb. I posted my latest tune tonight to see what those think. It seems like it is getting better mileage and running my fuel trims between -13 to 13 with a few off the chart, but mostly in the 0 - 13 range. So, I am still working with mine. What is your setup? EGR? Pre Cat 02s anything else?

I got mine from Advance Adapters. Bolted right to the back of my 5.3 LS base engine.
