    where to purchase chip burner?

    need to tune and obd1. anyone know where i can buy a good chip burner?

    YOu might want to ask around on something like thirdgen.org or something similar.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    I didn't see a link in that post.... just a name.

    To the OP; Google this; "GM OBD1 Chip Programmer". You're looking for a device that can program pre-1996 AT29C256, 27SF512, and AM29F040 chips.

    Correct, there were two posts after mine that I deleted. thirdgen.org has alot of old school chip burner guys that should be able to point you in the right direction hence the reason for my post.
