    support for 2011 mustang 5.0

Right now I have a z28 & hhr ss that I tune with hptuners but I'm about to sell both and get on the list for a 2011 mustang 5.0. Will you guys offer tuning for it like for my z28 and hhr ss? I've never tuned a Ford before so I was also wondering if you offer all the parameters you do on the chevy engine for the Ford crowd as well?
    thanks

If it uses the same oak pcm as the 2010's yes we'll likely be able to support it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The new 5.0 will be a huge market, I as well hope we support it because I am starting to tune the newer Ford vehicles now as well.

I have a buddy that just took delivery of his 5.0 yesterday and wants me to look at the tuning. Talk about a delay from the factory built into the throttle control!

Bill - if there is anything I can look at or provide for you to look at with regards to his car shoot me a PM.

    Thanks.

Try reading the pcm and contact support at hptuners.com with a vcm suite infolog while connected to the vehicle in question.

Will do as soon as he gets off work tonight Bill. Does it matter what version of the software that I run for this? I still have version 2.22.3152.xxx installed on the laptop, but I have a beta version install file from a couple of months ago...

And, do I need some open credits for Ford on it? Currently all of my credits are allocated.

    Thanks.

Got the beta. Pulled an info file with the version I had installed as well as the beta. Also took a screenshot of the error when trying to read the PCM (Ignition cycle timeout).

Sending the email to you guys now - let me know if there is anything else I can help out with.

    Thanks!

Whats the status on support for the 2011 Mustang 5.0? I have one of these mills and want to tune this baby!

The mustang and this motor have had a massive amount of press. This car will be the next 5.0 mustang from the mid 90's. Its already getting a huge following.

Can we read it? Are you accepting reads from it if we are able to? I have a co-worker with one.
