I don't doubt that one bit....

Do you have to reconfigure the tune or HPT scaling to run the 3 bar sensors?

I am busy with work right now LOL. I see 24-25 psi with my tuned over stage 1 file. Boost drops off some up top. I have the adjustable pill closed a little and it will hold 23-24 psi until about 6100-6200. Need better gas though I cannot run any timing to save my life right now LOL.

Is this upgrade worth the effort for us stock guys with only a HPT tune? I now get around 20psi in cool temps through the mids.

It will make a midrange torque and slight topend hp difference.

You need to start with the GMPP tune for your buggy and build from there.

Cool, I'm already running most of the tune now, except for a little other tweaks that I did to it. Let the timing the same and raised the DAL's 10% in the 90-100 colom, other than that the normal stuff was changed in the tune to what most are running.

I called them today and they said that the pigtails should be in Wednesday. So I think that I will order the sensors then

My sensors shipped today. Still debating the changeover. I can run 24-27 psi now so wondering the point of it all. Might sell the sensors in the future, I dunno.

I have a tune ready, I also have an E85 tune ready, but alas, I'm told not enough fuel pressure & injector window for it. I see over 7 ms inj PW now in a pull. Sux.

At what rpm are you seeing 7ms? Im seeing 9 to 11ms between 3-4500rpm, it eventually drops to 6ms past 5000rpm.
I leaned out my mid range a bit kinda like the stock tune does, not sure if i want to go down to .95 lambda in that range though. I wonder why gm is running it so lean below 4500rpm... and should we be running it that lean too?

.88 lambda at ~3800 rpm. It got in the 80's today. My peak loads dropped off with the lightweight flywheel also.

I would not run it any leaner than 0.92 lambda.

Would the best option be to get the Stage 1 tune from the dealer then add the HPT tune on top of that?

If you want to pay the GM price for the parts, install & have someone do it for you, then blow the warranty anyway....sure!

Good point, Broke. But I'm using two ECM's one stock one not. If the parts are added by the dealer they wont be the reason for voiding the warranty. True?

Tons cheaper if you orders just the sensors and connectors. They cost about $80 total for both MAPs and both connectors.

If I put the sensors on myself and flash the second cpu to take advantage of them, can I still put the stock cpu in to go back to the dealer for warrantees?

yes, you just have to put the map wires from the old pigtails back on, swap to stock maps, and do a write entire with your stocck tune, not the stage tune. just like any other mod lol.

"Write entire" will be the stage tune over the stock tune right?
