    Timing Problem

Had the car out at the track last night, (C5 Corvette, 10psi boost Magnacharger), for some reason at launch, the spark advance goes to 0 or negative advance up until about 4300rpm, then it works as normal. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Torque Management? Did you have the Traction Control shut off? Did you come off the throttle, or did the PCM intervene?

Torque management shut off through pcm, no traction control, but not sure if it was on competitive driving mode... does that pull timing too??

Competitive just employs a less agressive active handling which is braking only if I am correct. I am not an expert on A4 but what about Trans input/output Max settings? The trans input is higher, but there is more room and the output is at stock level.

Again, did you feather the throttle beginning at frame 366?

No. throttle was at given rpm for a while while waiting for green light with foot on brake, then at green it was floored to 100% and kept there throughout run, 1st to 2nd was just not holding on to the throttle when it jerked during the shift. What section are you looking at? I am pretty sure I disabled all the torque management on both sections that are related to it.

Good point, I also noticed that I can shut off spark advance reduction when pegging the max val of 640 ft lb by zeroing out the spark retard vs torque reduction, that might be killing my torque at the launch....

No TPS codes at all. My mechanic is saying that who ever installed the blower is using the temperature from within the intake manifold (pressurized) and that the high temperature reading is doing it.... Any thoughts? I don't think thats the case but just another idea.

I believe the IAT sensor is now in the intake...so it sees the corect temp of the compressed air.
