    Setting shift mph to zero and just using rpm will it work ,any reason not to?

    Any reason not to just put shift mph at zero and shift by rpm only? Will this work on my 4l80 swap. Why does a person want both mph and rpm .seems just needless extra complication.
    99 TAWS6 ERL 427 superdeck,AFR 225, LS9 cam, 1.7 yella terras, fluiddampr, fast 90/90,APS Twin turbos LG upgraded turbos,cutout.80 pound injectors, RPM 4l80e ,yank py3400, dana 60, lonnies dual pump fuel system,zex direct port,ron davis rad,ais alc injection

    Go to my site http://ls1tuningguide.com/tuninghelpfiles.php, open Transmission Shift Rate File, Bluecat who made all of the virtual VE stuff made this too. My car has never shifted so good.

    I do that all the time...
    set shift up mph to 0, it shifts by rpm
    may need to set it a few hundred rpm lower than desired because of slow transmissions and converters
    especially if you are on the juice...
