    Those who've successfully tuned a 2010 w/ heads/cam..

Raise your hand. Did you create a virtual VE? Run MAF only?

MAF only. Had no problems with drivability, although I'm sure it could get fine tuned by dialing in the VE. The customer is happy, though... so until he needs it to be better, I'm leaving it as is.

If you do it properly, you'll do both. I usually tune the MAF (only) completely up through WOT, then go back and dial in the Virtual VE tables with the MAF turned off. Once both are done, I go back to blended operation like it was from the factory for the best overall performance. I just did this last week on a 2010 CTS-v with a cam change that made 620+rwhp when training another student. The factory OS is surprisingly flexible if you understand how it really works.

Same way as before (and as shown in the DVD), just set the fail frequency lo enough that you're always violating it and make it the failure is recognized immediately. Then you don't need to unplug the sensor(s) at all.

i've done several, and prefer to do both maf/VE. it's amazing how sweet a crazy cammed car can run with a blended tune, and starting is much better even on the more wicked ones. the first virtual VE i did took a little longer, but once i got the hang of it, it's actually almost as easy as a regular VE......

My laptop is just such a slow piece of crap. Compiling the coefficients ends up taking a really long time, haha. I don't mind doing it if the customer has dropped their car off, though.
