    Current Gear PID

    Is this for auto's only?

I'm trying to setup dfco by rpm vs. gear and noticed that Current gear always logs 3rd. Does one of the t56 sensors also log current gear?

from what I've read it looks like current gear is for logging automatic functions...

so I guess dfco enable rpm vs. gear is only for auto's?

No T56 sensors log any gear . Though IIRC GM is now using the reversing switch signal as an input to the ECM. At least on G8's and probably Camaros.

Though in theory the ECM can figure the gear out with rpm and speed knowing the clutch is out.
