your car will explode so be careful!!! :P
lol, seriously the last column will be used. However, if you are still running with the MAF then the VE table is not used anyway.
I count sheep in hex...
so your saying the changing the VE table does nothing if the car has a MAF? SO how do you control fueling in this area?
Someone correct me if I am wrong but this is how I understand it.
Your car runs Open Loop until it warms up. Then it runs closed loop until you go into Power Enrichment (PE mode). Now in closed loop, the car uses the O2 sensors to keep your car at 14.7 A/F ratio (or what ever you put in the Stoich AFT field). When your TPS exceeds the number in the PE enable TPS% threshold vs RPM table, the car goes into PE mode. At this point the car locks in the fuel setting and adjusts fuel based on the PE tables.
Now you ask where does the MAF and VE table come into play? Well it only comes into play if soemthing is not right. That is why to adjust your LTFT you need to disconect the MAF (thus telling the PCM the MAF is malfunctioning). This is probably a simplistic veiw but I think it is close.
