Have tried to do a write entire, wrote ok, now the car doesn't even crank over, it also won't allow me to put the stock tune back in it, says it doesn't recognise the VIN #

One thing I've always found with VE's is that you get better reliability if performing all your flashes and even reads with only acc on rather than ign on.

To the OP. The flash sounds like its corrupt. Did you fully power down the ECM after the flash. ie key to OFF for at least 12sec. Not just gone back to ACC. Either way if the boot block in in tact it will be recoverable. But then I'm not familiar with how HPT handles an ECM if the VIN isn't valid. I've only ever corrupted a load using EFI LIVE and its easily recoverable as it doesn't care about VIN's
