04 Colorado PE mode issue

I’m working on a 04 Colorado with a 3.5l turbo making 5 psi. I have the pe mode set to come on with tps = 5% at all rpm ranges and Manifold pressure 102 kpa. The pe mode comes on, when the conditions are met, and stays on and other times it will turn on for a second and turn off. The truck runs fine when pe mode operates properly. We have tried it with the hyst. set to 0 or 5 kpa. Any help with this issue would greatly be appreciated!

5% tps? 40-45 would make more sense to me

Can you set it to turn on by cyl airmass instead or with TPS?

5% is way too low.
