most updates are just via download off the net...only new customers will get a cd as far as i know.

According to the download page my software update period expired 11/25/2004. I will be purchasing the LS2 hardware when available. Will I be paying more in the long run if I upgrade to the 2.0 software now ($99) versus just waiting and buying the LS2 HW/SW in one shot?

I just tried to download again, and now I only see the 1.7 download...

does that mean we can only download it once i have two cpu's one laptop and one desktop that are 2.5 hours apart. im at the desktop. i want to check it out, but i want it on my laptop also. should i just transfer .exe's

Yup, my first download was messed up.. You do in fact have to F5 the start download screen for it to update to the server I found out.

Make sure your entering in your full 10 digit serial #. You can also find it in the Help->About windows of the 1.x software.
