Incorrect Gear Ratio Tune= Horrible Problems

I've been reading some threads about changing pcm settings to work with 3.29 gears.

I just had a bunch of race parts put in the trans along with 3.29 gears and 7/8 chain. When I got it back there was a mysterious whine and lagging shift which would BANG into gear.
After 2 months, the chain was stretched enough to slip under load.
It was fixed, but the next day at the track, something broke on my 2nd pass.
I lost all gears and reverse.

When I look in the trans settings, the sprocket ratio is set at 1.0.
Apparently this is supposed to be 1.121? I'm not sure where to input the 3.69 number though, but I've read the gear ratio is supposed to be changed to that....
Also, I noticed my Force Motor Current (Pressure Control Solenoid) is stuck at .1A and does not fluctuate.

Hopefully I didn't break anything expensive or hard to fix.
The car was dyno'd at ZZP and they were supposed to set up the trans to run the 3.29s.... it sounds like that didn't get done right.

Are the symptoms I describe typical or extreme?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I read your thread... I'm pretty sure I know what to do know.

ZZP set up my tune in the first place.

I'm pretty sure I have a broken input shaft... it was a 4340 ZZP Shaft.
Input and Output shaft rpm are 0 when in drive.... even though the car doesn't move. It also makes no noises.

    Thanks for the help though.
I really wish I would have learned this earlier, but I trusted it to be set up right by ZZP....
They paid for the stretched chain, but I'm wondering if they will pay for the input shaft.

Batwood , I dont have the file handy but I know I posted the file for my gtp with 3.29's on the regal forums repository , the trans is a dynotech and the trans files originated from them and a few people have picked the file over and really like the trans settings

I've been talking to Dave from TEP quite a bit...

I will start by just changing the gear ratio settings...
No.... I will start by somehow getting my car to actually MOVE and figure out what broke...

When I get all that figured out, I might look into your file.

    Thanks!

Just post your question here, as I don't have time for 1 on 1 tuning help.

    Nevermind.

It wasn't exactly a tuning question, but I got the situation figured out, I think.

    Thanks.

Go to the speedo tab, change all of the setting back to stock. Go to the box that allows you to change the gear ratio. Enter the new gear ratio as 3.69 and click commit. That is the only change needed when going from 2.93 gears.
