    injector threshold

    I read on hp that one of the v8 guys reduced the injector threshold to gain some ecomony, first i got a v6 that has 6 different steps for o2 sensor rich/ lean threshold state cold, idle, decel, normal, accel, and wot, i using tiny tuner, what i did was lower the lean threshold for normal , which i assume is cruise, i can't see any change, does know the correct way or whatever opinion you may have on the subject. thanks

    This is what I'm using. I have picked up mileage with this.

    Fuel (91) -> Open Loop & Closed Loop -> O2 Sensor Rich/Lean Threshold

    mv Lean mv Rich
    State Cold 500 675
    Idle 375 425
    Decel 320 380
    Normal 300 400
    Aceel 500 650
    High 500 650

    [TinyTunerData]
    500,675
    375,425
    320,380
    300,400
    500,650
    500,650

    I tried these settings and it started to miss fire (I have 60lb injectors and running E85) and set a lean o2 code. did you have to play with the settings to get them to work?

    Nope. I set them and noticed an immediate difference in throttle response and a little later in mileage. No misfires at all.
