safe to add pressure on downshift?

My stock tune has 0's for all downshift pressures, but I noticed other cars with 4l60e's have some. I was wondering if anybody had experience in adding pressure here or if I should be warned not to do so! Also, if you see anything else that could be improved, any help and insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe if I restate my question. Should a 4l60e in a truck have some downshift pressure? Will the computer even control this and would it help make my downshift better?

I do not know what results from the "0" setting; often that
    means "default to something simple".

I recommend you look at the "lower level" goings-on -
commanded line % and force motor current. These tell
you what the intent and, in a sort of backwards way,
the resulting pressure at the business end (I've seen
at least one chart of delivered line PSI vs force motor
    current, not handy at present).

If you think the downshift pressure is too low going
by the numbers (presume you want to see something
above base line pressure during shift) then you can
bump it up incrementally and see whether "time of
latest shift" (?) PID responds the way you want. If
it doesn't reduce than adding pressure isn't helping
    and "why bother?".

Thank you for the advice. It would make sense to me that it's done mechanically. From my limited knowledge on this stuff, it seems that the pressure does go up, but the computer doesn't command it. Plus, I already spin the tires on some downshifts, so I'm not sure if more would be good anyway!
