    Unable To Locate Com Port?

i just bought HP tuners and im trying to set it up on my computer and i am suppose to set up a License Info. It tells me to click on the little HP icon and when i click it, it says "(Unable to locate an available COM Port. Make sure other programs are not currently using the COM port that the interface is plugged into)." Any information to help solve my problem would be awesome. I have Windows Vista. Its a Dell Inspiron 1545 T6400 ...Thanks

Install the 64 bit drivers found here http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5228
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

i tried that and it says "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. " This one was for Channel A, says code 39 .....Channel B does the same thing.

If you go into Device Manager and scroll down a bit, It says HP tuners MPVI Channel A
and the next one down is HP tuners MPVI Channel B , They both have the ! next to it.

i found this that you wrote awhile ago for someone else who needed help with code 39 " ( code 39 means you are trying to load unsigned drivers onto a 64 bit operating system, you need to download the signed drivers found in our help file and install them (in some operating systems you may need to use the update drivers feature in the operating system) "

I looked for Help file which im assuming is when you open up the VCM Editor. I got to the "GETTING STARTED section and read some of that. Still no luck

I watched the video and it looks like I at least have my new computer at least seeing the interface now. Thanks for the help.
