Ok, something weird has happened. Sometime before last week and now, the scanner and program files will not start. The HP startup splash comes up and abruptly disappears. No error messages, it just shuts down. I see it pop up in the process list under task manager for about a 1/2 a second, then it disappears. Any ideas? I haven't done anything but the automatic windows updates.

No, but I did just r&r my .net and everything is up and running again. Strange, I haven't changed anything in months (added or taken software away), but Microsoft just did an update a few hours ago and it quit working. Restarted 3 times to no avail. Fixed by re-installing .net version 4 though. May get this question a few more times if there is something in the automatic update (mine does it every day at 3pm).
